Protest Against Islam Awareness Month and Special Privileges Demanded by Muslims

University of Florida, Reitz Union, February 23rd, 5:30-7:30pm

Stand Up America Now will be at the University of Florida on February 23rd. We will be protesting Islam Awareness Month. This is another example of appeasing Islam, an example of a violation of our First amendment. The First Amendment talks about not favoring a religion. Islam Awareness Month is definitely favoring a religion. This is put on by the Muslim Student Association. The MSA is a national task force. Their goal is to institute Islamic foods, muslim foot baths, special provision for prayer rooms and prayer times. These actions are the appeasing of a particular group which is unconstitutional.

The MSA is well-known as an "incubator" of Islamic radicalism and has deep roots in the Muslim Brotherhood whose goal is to establish Islamic Sharia worldwide. The Muslim community in America is trying to push their agenda upon us with the help of organizations such as The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and MSA, with the help of political correctness, with the help of people who are unwilling to actually take a stand. As Islam continues to push its agenda using threats, parts of America are beginning to give in.

Islam on Campus has invited speakers to Gainesville this month that support the MSA's political agenda. Altaf Husain is a former President of MSA National. Mufti Hussain Kamani is an expert in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts (Fatwa) and is part of the Shariah Board of America’s Fatwa Department. Shaykh Omar Suleiman is a member of the ICNA Shariah Council. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) has launched a 2012 National Sharia Campaign to demand the consideration of Islamic Law in American Courts.

The Muslim Student Association of America has created it's Political Action Task Force after several MSA chapters did not react adequately enough, according to the MSA, to U.S. and international political situations. The MSA includes leaders such as Anwar al-Awlaki, the al Qaeda cleric who was linked to terror plots from Fort Hood to Times Square and others; Omar Hammami, a leader of the al-Shabaab terrorist group in Somalia; Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was national president of the MSA during the 1980s, was al Qaeda's top fundraiser in America and is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence; and Ramy Zamzam, convicted in Pakistan for attempting to join the Taliban and kill American troops.

The MSA's Political Action Task Force (PATF) plans to stage rallies, protests, and teach-ins to spearhead a united political movement.
