Presidential Candidate Terry Jones' Seven Points Towards Saving America
1. STOP OVERSPENDING IMMEDIATELY
We are now overspending by 4 billion dollars a day! We must take America back from the career politician and big government.
2. BALANCE THE BUDGET
We must make the painful decisions needed to reduce the National Deficit. If this is not done, we will experience a total collapse of our economy and way of life. The American Dollar will no longer be the world currency. We will lose our standing as world leader and our ability to function as a sovereign nation.
3. REDUCE MILITARY SPENDING
All U.S. military on foreign soil should be brought home. Future involvement of military on foreign soil should not be engaged until our country has become strong again. We honor our military and the sacrifices they have made to serve America. We cannot, however, continue at this time to play the role of World Policeman. The security of our nation must be reexamined and our military spending must be cut drastically.
4. DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS
Deport all illegal aliens. We must immediately begin the deportation of the 20 million illegal aliens living in our country. This would be an operation similar to what Eisenhower did to provide jobs for the soldiers who were coming home after the war. It would save America 540 billion dollars per year. Immigrants are welcome in America, but they must seek legal means to come here, must live under American laws and be willing to submit to our Constitution.
5. REDUCE CORPORATE TAXES
Our corporate taxes are the highest in the world. Corporate taxes must be reduced immediately in order to encourage people to start new businesses and existing corporations to expand, thus producing the jobs that are needed.
6. REDUCE BUREAUCRACY
We must reexamine the bureaucracy of our government and businesses. We are dying and drowning in bureaucracy, rules and regulations. Companies must be held accountable for the consumer's protection, but the over-control and over-kill that we have is destroying our companies.
7. LEGALIZE HEMP
Industrial Hemp is a plant that can be grown in our fields in America. It is friendly to the environment, and because it is a plant that is grown, it is unlimited. Unlike oil, we can never run out of hemp. It can be processed into a building material which is ten times stronger than steel. It can also be processed into a type of fuel which would replace our dependency upon foreign oil. The simple growing of hemp gives it unlimited availability making it more economic than other forms of energy. This will create jobs and drastically reduce our deficit. Dependency on foreign oil has drawn us in to regional conflicts we cannot win at a huge cost in American lives and resources.
CHRISTIANITY AND THE CONSTITUTION
Terry Jones stands for conservative Biblical moral values. Abortion is murder, same-sex marriage should be banned. However we will lose our freedom to preach the Bible if we do not uphold the US Constitution.
The Constitution, especially The Bill of Rights with the First and Second Amendments, are weapons our Founding Fathers used to secure our freedom. We have begun to toss them aside under assault from progressive compromise. This is not progress. It is suicide.
WHY RUN FOR PRESIDENT?
America is no longer free. We are slaves to our National Debt, to reckless spending, to lumbering bureaucracies, to crippling government control. Internationally and at home America is mocked and manipulated by less powerful nations, foreign ideologies and interests. We are no longer our own master.
What leaders will challenge America’s slavery? Barack Hussein Obama is a fraud whose treasonous actions go unchecked by a cowardly Congress. Obama should be impeached. But the media scrape and bow to their handlers, selling their show of the rich and beautiful to a hypnotized nation. America is no longer free.
Terry Jones stood before the world during the week of 9/11/2010 and continues to stand as a champion of freedom. His life and actions prove that he is not enslaved. He believes there is still enough freedom left in America that America’s greatness and independence can be reclaimed.
The critical security threat is not overseas. It is at home in America. It is America’s economic and moral weakness, it is fear and apathy. AMERICA’S HEARTLAND
Terry D. Jones was born and grew up in the American Heartland, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. His passion in High School and College was baseball. He pitched a respected southpaw fastball. In his twenties he was raising a young family and had successfully worked his way up from porter to management in the hotel industry. He became the youngest hotel manager in the history of the Company.
He was training other hotel managers when as a new Christian he answered the call to become a Pastor and then a missionary to Europe. He served for more than thirty five years in Christian ministry, thirty of those years in Germany. He has traveled extensively, speaking in many nations. In May 1993, Dr. Jones received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the University of California Graduate School of Theology, Rosemead, California.
Terry Jones is Senior Pastor of Dove World Outreach Center, Gainesville Florida. He is currently the Founder and President of the organization, Stand Up America Now! (www.standupamericanow.org). He has hosted programs with the Arabic Christian satellite channel The Truth TV (www.truthsat.tv) based in California.
