Terry Jones 2012: Obama is a Traitor, the NDAA is Treason

We at Stand Up America Now want to express our absolute disgust, disagreement, disdain with the National Defense Authorization Act that gives the United States President the authority to lock up U.S. citizens for an indefinite period of time without a trial for being under suspicion of terrorist activity.  This is totally against the Constitution of the United States.  This is definitely not in the spirit of the Founding Fathers or a free nation.

We call for people around America, individuals and organizations to stand up and speak out against this.  This is indeed a very dangerous bill and a very dangerous direction that the United States continues to go in under the leadership of Barrack Hussein Obama.

This bill gives Barrack Obama the ultimate power to destroy the First and Second Amendments. Indefinite incarceration is now possible for freedom of speech, freedom of expression, even freedom of the press, if seen as an offense or a threat to national security.

According to the laws already on the books, you may be considered a potential terrorist by the United States government if you own several guns, missing fingers on either hand, if you have more than seven days worth of food stored in your house, or if you have weather-proof ammunition.

Ironically, the White House tweeted "Happy Bill of Rights Day" to commemorate the 220th Anniversary of the Bill of Rights on the day the Senate voted in overwhelming favor to pass the NDAA bill empowering the President of the United States to have American citizens arrested without trial and to be incarcerated indefinitely in military prisons worldwide. While the media was busy watching the New Year turn, the Bill was signed into law by the President on News Year’s Eve.

We at Stand Up America Now consider this to be a traitorous act against the citizens of the United States, against America and her freedoms that were guaranteed in the first ten amendments of the Constitution collectively called the Bill of Rights.

The NDAA bill converts the office of President of the Unites States to a dictatorship. Our government has always been by the people and for the people. The National Defense Authorization Act passed by the President and the Congress will enable our government to imprison the people.

This is the time to raise our voices and take a stand for the Constitution and for American freedom.
