Ten Reasons Islam is Dangerous
One
Islam teaches that Jesus Christ, the Crucified, Risen Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords was not the Son of God, nor was he crucified (the latter a well documented historical fact that only Islam denies). This teaching removes the possibility of salvation and eternal life in heaven for all Islam's believers. They face eternal damnation in hell if they do not repent.
You may be a peaceful, westernized Moslem who rejects Sharia Law and violent jihad, who openly condemns terrorism. Or you may be a devout Moslem who does plan to blow himself up and honor God, to get into paradise, but you are still in danger. You are lost and cannot be saved by your ‘good’ deeds alone. No one can. Salvation comes only through grace in Christ.
Two
The Koran does not have an eternal origin, as Moslems claim. It is not recorded in heaven. The Almighty God, Creator of the World, is not it's source. It is not holy. It's writings are human in origin, a concoction of old and new teachings originating from a false prophet. The idolatry of the Koran itself, that it can only be understood in classic Arabic, that it should only be spoken in that language, is a man made limitation dictated by the prophet’s followers to perpetuate control and fear.
Three
Islam's teaching includes Arabian idolatry, paganism, rites and rituals. These are demonic, an ongoing Satanic stronghold under which Moslems and the world suffer, especially in Islamic lands. It is not simply a void, a lack of reality and truth. The personal, grace-filled relationship with the Living God of the Christian Bible is not found in Islam. In its place is a very convincing and power-filled darkness. When you reject the life of God through Jesus Christ, you, unwittingly or not, accept the power of the Devil over your life.
Four
The earliest writings that are known to exist about the Prophet Mohammad were recorded 120 years after his death, most much later amid many disputes. All of the Islamic writings (the Koran and the Hadith, the biographies, the traditions and histories) are confused, contradictory and inconsistent. Maybe Mohammad never existed. We have no conclusive account about what he said or did. Yet Moslems follow the destructive teachings of Islam without question.
Five
Mohammad's life and message cannot be respected. The first Meccan period of his leadership seems to have been religiously motivated and a search for the truth. But in the second Medina period he was "corrupted by power and worldly ambitions" (Ibn Warraq). These are characteristics that God hates. Power and worldly ambition, all lost in eternity, never motivated any of God’s true followers. They also led to political assassinations and massacres which continue to be carried out on a regular basis by his followers today.
If you offend Moslems by questioning their beliefs, their prophet, their writings, their ambitions, their laws, they become aggressive, call down the curses of Allah against you, threaten and plan to kill you. We have received thousands of aggressive calls and letters from Moslems here at Dove World Outreach Center. We have received hundreds of violent and specific death threats against leaders, men, women and children. We have not harmed a soul. We have simply spoken words of truth and salvation. We will continue to do so, come what may.
Six
Islamic Law is totalitarian in nature. There is no separation of church and state. It is irrational. It is supposedly immutable and cannot be changed. It must be accepted without criticism. The father, the men, are sovereign in their own homes. Backed by Sharia Law, they are responsible for discipline and order, often harshly and violently administered. This is not isolated in Islamic lands. Immigrants in the West do not find it easy, or are simply not willing to abide by Western laws. And increasingly in the West, Moslems are not prosecuted in the same manner as Westerners because judges, law enforcement agencies and governments do not want to offend and anger Moslem immigrant communities.
Seven
Islam is not compatible with democracy and human rights. The notion of a moral individual capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for them does not exist in Islam. Everything is subject to the laws of Allah as interpreted by the local imams and mullahs.
The attitude towards women in Islam as inferior possessions of men has led to countless cases of mistreatment and abuse for which Moslem men receive little or no punishment, and in many cases are encouraged to commit such acts, and are even praised for them. Individuals are obligated first to family honor, to clan and society law. Astonishingly, Islamic states are heavily represented at the United Nations and on the the Human Rights Council, yet Western governments seem powerless, helpless or unwilling to challenge their atrocious human rights records.
Eight
A Muslim does not have the right to change his religion. Apostasy is punishable by death. Western governments rarely speak about this problem and are reluctant to believe it exists. Where is the freedom of religion in Islamic homes, societies and countries? Why do Western governments make it so difficult for ex-Moslems to find asylum in our lands?
The current US Administration is generous with immigrant visas to Pakistani Moslems, for instance, but Pakistani Christians with family members here ready to support them, and in danger every day of persecution and death just for being Christians in Pakistan, find it almost impossible to come here. Christians are dying and being persecuted regularly in Egypt, yet the US Government does not challenge that government’s lack of protection for the Christians. Churches are burned regularly and cannot be rebuilt in Indonesia. Christians are executed every Friday in Saudi Arabia, but the media does not care, Western governments do not react.
Why? We must stand up, America, and demand a change. Is a friendly relationship with these governments more important than religious freedom and the eternal souls of men, women and children?
Nine
Deep in the Islamic teaching and culture is the irrational fear and loathing of the West. This has been repeated by many ex-Moslems who have written and spoken about their faith. They are raised with this fear and mistrust, with a religious legalism which judges everything in it’s path based on the Islamic ideal. Yet the Islamic ideal itself is not followed within Islamic homes and societies. Moslems are well known for sexual immorality, homosexuality, violent and corrupt behavior, for lying. It is hidden by the heavy hand of Sharia policing, but it is there. In Christian lands we have the same problems, but Christian teaching does not condone these things, and our land’s laws criminalize much of the most oppressive behaviors that are not criminalized under Islam: lying is called fraud; corrupt governments are removed; honor killing, rape, pedophilia, polygamy, all receive heavy convictions.
Ten
Islam is a weapon of Arab imperialism and Islamic colonialism. Wherever Islam has or gains political power, Christians, Jews and all non-Moslems receive persecution, discrimination, are pressured or forced to convert. Islam condones massacres (Mohammad participated in them) and churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship are destroyed.
Christians are called to live and speak the truth, and to tear down the strongholds of the kingdom of darkness. Islam is of the devil and the Koran is a lie. Millions of people all over the world, Moslem and non-Moslem, are held captive by these lies. The world needs a beacon of warning and of hope.
It is time for America to stand up!
America is a nation founded by God for his people to worship freely. This means there must also be freedom for others to worship (legally) in their way, for them not to worship God, for them to live immoral lives, or even criminal lives and suffer the consequences. Christians must continue, though, to have the freedom to preach the truth and shape national laws. This is what has made Western Civilization great - not perfect, but the best the world has to offer. When America allows the muzzling of the Christian voice, America looses itself. It may think it is fine in it’s Cinderella world of happiness and shine, but it is a delusion.
God blessed America not only with power, wealth and freedom, but also with responsibility. She has always fought for those who had no hope, sheltering the persecuted, not only Christians but all ethic and religious groups. In a bizarre twist of Islamic apologetics, Moslems are often styled the victims and oppressed. In a sense, they are oppressed by their own beliefs, and also need to be freed. But the overall attitude of Islam is of the aggressor, set on a mission of world domination and the steady sure suppression of the West and Christians. Only by opposing that aggressive nature of Islam can Moslems find a place to flee.
It is not so simple to state that “Everything I need to know about Islam I learned on 9/11.” The terror we felt that day lives on. America needs to rise out of it’s fear like a Phoenix from the dirt and take on this challenge of fighting for our freedom while we still can. America always wanted to live in a dream world free from foreign wars. Even if we left Iraq and Afghanistan, we would not be safe from Islam. There is no safety. There is only time to learn to fight.
